This Privacy Policy describes how the RallyTime iOS and watchOS app (“RallyTime,” “we,” “our”) handles your information. RallyTime is a time-of-day countdown clock for rally drivers and co-drivers.
When you start a countdown, RallyTime stores your target time and start time locally in an iOS App Group container so it can be shared between the iPhone app, the Apple Watch app, the home/lock-screen widgets, the Live Activity, and the Dynamic Island. This data never leaves your device(s).
Your settings (notification preferences for T−10, T−1, T−0, etc.) are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.
If you enable notifications, RallyTime schedules local notifications via Apple’s standard UNUserNotificationCenter. These are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. RallyTime does not use push notifications and has no notification server.
If you pair RallyTime with an Apple Watch, the iPhone and watch synchronise active countdown state directly over Apple’s standard Watch Connectivity framework. This communication is between your own paired devices and is handled by Apple’s system services. No third party receives this data.
RallyTime does not currently offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated and any payment processing will be handled exclusively by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
All data is retained on-device for as long as you keep the app installed. Deleting RallyTime from your iPhone or Apple Watch removes all locally-stored data on that device.
RallyTime is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
