This Privacy Policy describes how the RallyBook iOS app (“RallyBook,” “we,” “our”) handles your information. RallyBook is a roadbook navigation tool for rally drivers and co-drivers.

Information We Collect

Location Data (Precise Location)

RallyBook uses your device’s GPS to provide live navigation, distance tracking, and waypoint validation during rally stages. Location data is used in real time and is not stored, transmitted off-device, or shared with anyone.

Purchase History

When you activate a 7-Day Pass, the purchase is processed by Apple via the App Store. RallyBook stores the resulting access expiration date locally on your device so the app knows when your access expires. We do not receive your Apple ID, payment method, or any personal payment information — that is handled entirely by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

App Settings & Usage State

RallyBook stores your preferences (display options, alarm thresholds, file metadata, etc.) locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.

Roadbook Files

Files you import (GPX, CAP, PDF) are stored locally in your app sandbox. They are not uploaded anywhere.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or contact information.
• We do not collect device identifiers for advertising.
• We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry SDKs.
• We do not use third-party trackers or advertising networks.

Subscriptions & Payments

RallyBook offers a 7-Day Pass as a non-renewing in-app purchase. Payment is processed by Apple. The pass does not auto-renew. Subscription terms and refund policies follow Apple’s standard terms. To request a refund, contact Apple Support directly.

Free Trial

New installations of RallyBook receive a one-time 7-day free trial. To prevent repeated trials on the same device, we record a device-specific identifier (Apple’s identifierForVendor) the first time the trial is activated. This identifier is opaque, scoped to RallyBook only, and is never transmitted off-device.

Data Retention

All data is retained on-device for as long as you keep the app installed. Deleting RallyBook from your device removes all locally-stored data.

Children’s Privacy

RallyBook is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
